The best things to do in Turín

Two of the first places to visit in Turin is the Mole Antonelliana, the main architectural symbol of the city, and the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Juan Bautista, the main Catholic church. It is famous for housing the Chapel of the Holy Shroud. The cathedral is the only example of Renaissance architecture in the city. The facade is made of white marble, and has three portals decorated with reliefs and frescoes inside, so if you're wondering what to do in Turin, head here!

For more things to do in Turin, you'll find palaces like the Royal Palace, Madama Palace, and Palazzo Carignano, one of the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy that has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. And then there are the Basilica of Mary and Basilica of Superga, a church built on top of a hill that for many tourists is ranked high on the list of stuff to do in Turin. The church houses the tombs of many of the princes and kings of the House of Savoy, including the Monument to Carlos Manuel III and his brother Ignazio Collino Fillipo. Culturally, the Egyptian Museum is one of the most relevant attractions in Turin. It is located in a Baroque-style building and is one of the oldest museums in town in addition to having the second largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world -- after the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

In terms of green spaces, head to Valentino Park along the banks of the Po River. In it you'll find Turin attractions like the Castillo del Valentino and the Burgo Medieval and Modern Exhibition.
