There are stunning natural landscapes you must visit while in Bandung. Start at the Dago Tea House, where you can see a panorama of Bandung. From there take a road for one kilometer, which will lead you to a beautiful waterfall.
One of the best places to visit in Bandung is Tangkuban Perahu Volcano. This volcano is active but and erupted as recently as 2013. Nearby are two other craters: Kawah Upas and Kawah Domas.
In addition to the natural beauty of Bandung there are many museums filled with history, making them great Bandung attractions. The main museum to visit is the Geological Museum of Bandung, which houses collections of fossils, minerals, and meteorites. Visitors will enjoy the models of volcanoes and reconstructions of prehistoric animals.
There is also the Villa Isola, designed by Dutch architect Wolff Schoemaker for newspaper magnate D.W. Berretty. This villa is not only surrounded by incredible gardens, but has a great story to go along with it. The building was a hotel for a while and served as a base for the army in 1942. It was renamed Bumi Siliwangi and is now used by the university.
