​Balneário Tejas Verdes

Às margens do rio que dá nome à cidade, o balneário de Tejas Verdes atrai visitantes durante as épocas mais quentes do ano. A área de lazer encontra-se na rota 243 e há um terreno na margem oposta da estrada que faz as vezes de estacionamento. É um ótimo lugar para fazer um piquenique, pois o local possui algumas mesas com cadeiras de pedra. Caso já estejam ocupadas, não há problema, há um grande gramado bem cuidado onde que é possível estender toalhas, ou mesmo levar cadeiras de praia. É um ponto onde o rio é raso e muitos aproveitam para dar um mergulho nas águas (sempre geladas) que vêm das montanhas. Apesar de ser um pouco afastado da cidade, Tejas Verdes é ponto de partida/ chegada de algumas trilhas que contornam a cidade e percorrem as margens do Rio Coyhaique e seus afluentes. No seu ponto de partida, à esquerda do acesso principal do balneário, há uma placa com um mapa e indicações de caminhos e locais de entrada e saída dos cinco trechos principais. Acredito que é possível fazer a caminhada sem um guia, pois está tudo bem sinalizado por ali, porém as condições podem não ser muito favoráveis dependendo do clima.

Despite being a little way from the city, Tejas Verdes starting point / arrival of some trails that surround the city and along the banks of Coyhaique River and its tributaries. To your starting point, left the main access Balnerio, there is a sign with a map and indications of ways and entry points and exit of five main sections. I believe that it is possible to make the trek without a guide because everything is well signposted around there, however the conditions can be in very favorable weather permitting.
