Park Zvezda

Zvezda in Slovenian literally means "star". The park is in a nice spot, right in the centre of the Congress Square and overlooked by Slovenia's cultural institutions. Here you can stroll past the remains of a Roman wall, and a gilded bronze statue depicting a nobleman of ancient Emona, the Roman colony that gave rise to the city. On New Year's Eve, the square comes alive with beautiful lights and live music.
