Zoo Karlsruhe

An unusual zoo, the animals are in open spaces with natural borders resembling their habitats. However, I found some enclosures are a bit small. There are many different animals: elephants, lions, birds etc. It was 6 euros, plus another 3.50 for a gondola ride, cheap compared to other zoos, but this is not very big. A morning or an afternoon is enough to see it.

O zoológico de Karlsruhe é tão grande, que daria para passear por um dia todo. Há muitos espaços para os animais, e passeios com barco pelo lago do local, além de jardins belíssimos. Para quem gosta de fotografar flores como eu, é uma parada obrigatória na cidade.

The zoo in Karlsruhe so great, that would give to stroll through a whole day. There are many spaces for animals, and tours with boat by the local lake, plus belssimos gardens. For those who like to photograph flowers as I a mandatory stop in the city.
