Zoco El Fustat
Near the Coptic Cairo neighborhood, when you go into the street of Salem Saleh, there is a kind of large scale complex called Souk Al Fustat. It's on the corner of Emam Hassan al Anwar street. It has a good selection of handicrafts from all regions of the country. It is named after Al Fustat, the ancient city here, when Cairo was limited to just a small neighborhood. There are about 50 shops and you have to barter for good prices. You can find lamps, dishes, painted wood ... many souvenirs to take home. The products are better quality than in Khan el Khalili, but also more expensive. There is a small cafe inside too.
