Green Bridge

The Green Bridge, which connects the old and new cities, is one of the few remaining examples of Soviet realist art in Vilnius. It has four groups of statues, two at each end, with the themes of industry, agriculture, peace and youth. In the old days it was painted green, hence its name.

Some say that they symbolize history, some that they must be renoved. They are replaced with flowers now.
