Authentic Chinese in Madrid
This place seems like something out of Blade Runner. It's in a cave-like hall leading to the parking garage under Plaza de Espana. You might have to walk over some punk kids drinking beer or a sleeping homeless person to get there, but it's worth it as the best and most Chinese restaurant in Madrid.
They have a relatively short menu featuring house-made dumplings, noodles, rices, salads and daily specials featuring whatever is fresh that day. All ingredients come straight from the nearby Asian-dominated market on the other side of Gran Via.
It's suggest the pot-stickers (hand-made, and you can tell the difference), and the daily specials which typically feature a mixture of fresh veggies and pork or chicken. Gourmet it ain't, but it's some of the best Chinese food found anywhere in the city. Soul-satisfying, you might say.
