Resorts and Hotels in Koh Tao
Greetings travellers! Koh Tao is an island that only opened to visitors very recently and even more recently diving enthusiasts began to arrive there. Today the choice of hotels is very wide and has there is accommodation for all budgets. Despite the progress that this island has suffered as far as tourism is concerned, in general, this island has been maintained well and hotels and resorts are as much as possible camouflaged in the surroundings. The vegetation and the sea are still the dominant factors on this island. In many coves and beaches Koh Tao offers cottage-style accommodation which you can find among the rocks or quite economical traditional accommodation.
You can stay on this island for 200 baht, as in the case of Koh Tao Ban's Resort on Sairee Beach. Others like the Black Tip Dive Resort or Coral View Resort will provide accommodation for 400 baht. (1 euro = 40 baht approx.) However, if you do want more luxury there is the the Chalok Chintakiri Resort on Baan Kao Beach for 2400 baht (around 60 euros a night, depending on the season). Many of the hotels offer a discount if you book dive course with them ,and generally you can enjoy the island for only about 5 or 6 euros a day.
