Woodland Park

Past Alva in the area of Dollar, one can find the Ochil hills, now converted into a natural park, where you can appreciate the local wildlife and enjoy good hiking. There are several routes that differ in distance, but they are all pretty flat and scenic (even used by local school trips), which makes it ideal for families. Usually these routes border forests and, in the early hours (at sunrise), you can see herds of deer, rabbits, goats and golden eagles.
