Las sandalias de Ulises
Wilanow Palace
During the mid-seventeenth century, King John III Sobieski Augustyn Locci ordered the construction of a baroque palace and Wilnow garden for his summer residence. Construction occurred from 1677 until the king's death in 1696 and it has always been a haven for the monarchs. Visitors can tour the interior and the gallery, which displays portraits of famous Poles. The Orangerie displays local crafts. There is also the Muzeum Plakatu Wilanowie (Museum of Wilanow Prints). This little Versailles is not found on a map, so it's virtually impossible to walk to. There are buses, although a taxi to the palace
Is not that expensive.
