Whithorn Island Bay
Once on the coast, next to the area called Isle of Whithorn we can see the bay, along the beaches, where St. Ninian had his cabin and where he prayed facing the sea when the sun was setting. It is curious that the island you can see in the bay has no name as far as I'm so far aware. This is conclusion I reached after much research. However, the locals call it Holy Island because legend goes that a person there once stopped a huge storm. Once a year a small boat goes there prayers are said for the local people. With bad weather it is even more impressive and seems to be more mysterious and spiritual.
