Geysers are a major attraction in Yellowstone Park. Some really do look like small volcanoes. If you're going to visit the park, be sure to check the schedule beforehand, so you know when a geyser is due to blow. White Dome Geyser is one of those "regulars" that offers visitors an hourly show. Nearby, the Great Fountain is much more temperamental and disappointing.
