Located in a quiet neighborhood
The Westbury Hotel is certainly not the most central one can find...but it still has a number of advantages. It's in a quiet neighborhood near Gloucester Road tube station which means you can ride to most of London's top attractions in just a few minutes. It's also surrounded by plenty of cafes, snack bars, restaurants and supermarkets as well as a couple of museums like the History Museum or the Science Museum. The hotel itself is OK. The rooms are small but fine if you're just there to sleep and the bathrooms have hairdryers. The breakfast (included) was good: cereal, milk, jam, toast, hard boiled egg, cheese, chocolate, coffee and tea.
Prices are high, however. 80 pounds a night for a double room, but in the end that's not so excessive for London. The Westbury Hotel is a small and convenient place to stay in London and you can easily reach all of the major sights in the city in just a few minutes.
