Water Mill
Walking along the right bank of the Green Corridor do Fervença upstream to the river, I found this former mill that's been recently renovated. It was used for grinding grain, using hydropower produced by a channel of Fervença river water. Formerly in Bragança there were 12 of these mills. It's closed, but through the lattice you can see reproductions of its workings: the grain hopper, turning stones to grind the grain and the milling compartment where the grain fell.
