Watchmans Pub & Eatery

I was in a class on a Sunday afternoon on the typically bustling 17th ave, which is quieter on Sundays, and I stumbled across this place when I was in a hurry to grab some lunch. A coworker and I were greeted by a friendly server and were pleasantly surprised by the $7.95 for any entree menu (with drink purchase). I ordered a veggie pizza and my coworker got the chicken sandwich, and we were both happy.

It's pretty straightforward pub food, but you can't beat the price or the location. It's a very casual sports bar, with casual service and casual patrons. Would probably be a fun place
