Wat Pathumwanaram Ratchaworawiharn

Questo tempio buddista si trova fra il centro commerciale di Paragon e quello di Central World. È stato recentemente restaurato e riportato agli antichi splendori. Si tratta di un tempio costruito nel 1857 e sorge dove originariamente venne eretta la residenza di Re Rama IV (Sra Pathum Palace). Il complesso religioso si compone di diversi edifici fra cui 2 strutture per il il culto e la preghiera con bellissimi affreschi e finemente rifiniti con stucchi in oro e pietre e specchietti in puro stile tailandese. Nonostante sia poco noto ai turisti questo tempio è molto venerato dai tailandesi che, soprattutto durante le principali festività buddiste, si recano a Wat Pathumwanaram per portare offerte e pregare.

This Buddhist temple is located in the commercial center of the Paragon and Central World. It has recently been restored to its former glory. It is a temple built in 1857 and stands where it was built originally the residence of King Rama IV (Sra Pathum Palace). The religious complex consists of several buildings, including two facilities for worship and prayer with beautiful frescoes and finely finished with stucco and gold stones and mirrors in pure Thai style. Although little known to tourists this temple is highly revered by Thais that, especially during major Buddhist holidays, travel to Wat Pathumwanaram to make offerings and pray.
