War Museum of Athens

The War Museum in Athens opened in 1975. It offers an exposure of times of war. It boasts documentation of the history of war from antiquity to the modern era. The permanent exhibition includes several rooms, devoted to antiquity from the Stone Age and the Bronze Age, the period of Frankish rule, the Greek War of Independence, the New Greek State, the Balkan Wars, the First World War as well as the German invasion.
