Walk to Horse Shoe Bend

The hike to the Horseshoe Bend site is an easy trek and provides an opportunity to admire the Colorado River in a beautiful landscape. From the parking that is accessed from Highway 89, the trail is wide and well marked. The view at the edge of the cliff is beautiful, with the red rocks of Utah and Arizona. Here the Colorado river forms a U shape - from whence it gets its name.
