Waffle Frolic

Waffle Frolic is a breakfast/lunch restaurant serving up delicious morsels well into the night! Located in the Ithaca Commons pedestrian shopping mall near Cornell University, it is a haven for students and locals alike. You can order their specialty, waffles, prepared in a number of ways: buttermilk, vegan, gluten-free, or with several unique toppings on top. You can go the traditional route with maple syrup or fresh fruit, or get a little crazy with lemon curd, apple butter, or shredded coconut. If you're not in the waffle mood, there are plenty of sandwiches on the menu. We ordered two waffles and two sandwiches: Roasted Garlic & Portobello and Mediterranean (Spinach, Artichoke, and Kalamata Olive Spread) with vegan Daiya cheese.
