Gonzaga-Guerrieri Building

Volta Mantovana è un piccolo paese tra Peschiera del Garda e Mantova. Il centro, tutto in salita, è l'area che ha mantenuto le antiche strutture del borgo, un belvedere permette di ammirare la pianura sottostante. Qui propio in centro si può ammirare il Palazzo dei Gonzaga fatto edificare da Ludovico Gonzaga e Barbara di Brandeburgo come villa di campagna, verso la metà del 1400. Il palazzo era chiuso e quindi non siamo riusciti ha vedere le decorazioni e affreschi '500. Da fuori siamo riusciti a vedere uno scorcio del pregevole giardino all'italiana dove conservano ancora intatta la loro armonia di siepi e statue. Apertura al pubblico: dal lunedì al sabato dalle 9:00 alle 13:00. Dalla prima domenica di Aprile alla prima domenica di Ottobre anche il sabato e domenica dalle 15 alle 19. Possibilità di visite guidate per gruppi su appuntamento.

Gonzaga is a small town between Peschiera del Garda and Mantua.
