Volcano
This the brother volcano to Popocatlepec Volcano. Both can be visited from the town Ameca Meca. This is 50 km from the Federal District, therefore it's in Mexico state. Ameca is a typical village, they sell crafts from many states, have a church with data from the colony, and you can eat typical food in the market. If you are an adventurer and want to pretend to go volcano climbing, you have to get permission and get up at dawn with enough food, shelter, clothing, boots, gloves, etc to make the trip. This photo, as many others are, is from the plane. When I returned, Del Carmen, DF Campeche also visited the town following a visit to Meca Ameca.
The Church and Lord of Pantheon were wonderful for my family to visit, as well as my mother of 88 years. This place is a small hill in front of volcanoes with splendid views. The photos are with a Reflex Canon 8 taken 8 or 10 years ago and have been scanned.
