Superb cuisine
One of the weaknesses of the paradise that is New Zealand is the internet connection. It's slow and often expensive outside of big cities. Finding a free wifi connection is a long shot - bars and cafes rarely offer it. You're better off going to a public library, and you can often see internet users camped in them. But some cafes do have wifi. I particularly like the Viva, located in Auckland at 159 Symonds St Newton Street between Mt Eden and the delightful neighbourhood of Point Chevalier. The Viva is run by New Zealanders of Chinese origin, and in addition to offering free Internet as a service, has superb cuisine at affordable prices.
