Visiting the Mangroves

For the wildlife, we went to the mangroves that surround the coast of Playon Chico . In general, the mangrove is the most common type of vegetation along these coasts and shelters all kinds of birds and reptiles, including alligators. The truth is that nothing showed up but local mosquitoes (known as chitras). To end the day, our guide took us to a coastal area with very low seabed, where you can fish up with your hands starfish, sea urchins and sea cucumbers. It was good, more than anything to see these
