Museum
After our visit we went to Visegrad Szentendre which is about 20 kms from there to be able to see the famous Danube meanders. From this city which was from the XV century to one of the most brilliant courts of Europe, we only have the remains of the fortress that is located 350 meters above the Danube, that was the safe where were the Hungarian crown jewels were kept until the sixteenth century. The climb to this place can be done on foot, but I do not recommend this, or you can go by car which you can then leave in the parking lot that is at the entrance of the fortress. This place is crumbling because of the Turkish attacks which took place in the XVI century, only half was rebuilt.
Inside you can see a museum that transports you to the customs of the time. It's funny, with mannequins representing the torture scenes of the time. From the top, the views are spectacular, you can see Danube's bend, it is a pity that it was not the ideal time to take good photographs.
