Virgen de la Peña Santuary

El Santuario Virgen De La Peña is in the village of Canara. After the reconquest, a medieval castle and a church were built on the mountain to worship Santa Maria. The chapel is built on the remains of the old castle at a height of 535 meters above sea level and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. It currently belongs to the Diocese of Cartagena. It's style is Baroque.
