Vinolento

Dopo attenta valutazione dei vari ristorantini incontrati nel borgo, che ci parevano piuttosto turistici e neppure troppo cortesi, alla fine della via che porta alla fortezza, abbiamo finalmente trovato quello giusto. Ci hanno convinti l'aspetto dei piatti sbirciati sui tavoli all'esterno, il nostro naso, i vari marchi che all'esterno del locale riportavano segnalazioni e recensioni su testate e guide turistiche e il fatto che proponessero cucina locale a km zero. E abbiamo scelto davvero bene! Disponibilissimi nel servizio (noi siamo arrivati piuttosto tardi ma ci han fatti mangiare lo stesso) e nel consigliarci nella scelta. Abbiamo preso vari piatti per assaggiarli. Consigliatissima è la polpa di cinghiale coi crostini (antipasto), che pare sia una delle specialità della casa. Tutti i primi erano molto buoni. Noi abbiamo mangiato all'esterno ma anche gli interni del locale erano carini. C'è un'ottima scelta di vini (è un ristorante-enoteca) ma il consiglio è di provare le birre artigianali perché sono superlative (in particolare la Orval per la quale il proprietario è ambasciatore italiano). Onestissimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo (ricco tagliere con salumi, formaggi e verdure condiviso, un piatto a testa e caffè a 19 euro).

After careful evaluation of the various restaurants in the village met, that there seemed to be quite touristic and not too polite, to the end of the road leading to the fort, we finally found the right one. They believe the look of the dishes on the tables outside sbirciati, our nose, the various brands that outside the room and brought back reports and reviews in newspapers and tourist guides that would propose local cuisine at zero km. And we chose really well! Disponibilissimi in the service (we arrived quite late but we eat the same facts han) and advise in the selection. We took a variety of dishes to taste them. Highly recommended is the wild boar meat with croutons (starter), apparently one of the house specialties. All the starters were very good. We ate outside but also the interior of the room were nice. There is a great selection of wines (a wine restaurant) but the advice is to try craft beers because they are superb (especially the Orval for which the owner is Italian ambassador). Onestissimo also the value for money (rich platter with cold meats, cheeses and vegetables shared a flat head and coffee at 19 €).

La prima sensazione che si prova entrando all'Osteria Vinolento è quella dell'informalità: il locale è tipicamente umbro, arredato con gusto, decisamente raccolto. I profumi nell'aria sono soavi, viene subito appetito! Il gestore sig. Giuliano accoglie gli avventori con cortesia e disponibilità, per cui ci si sente subito a proprio agio. La cucina è attigua al locale, sbirciando si nota ordine e... pulizia!! Per quanto riguarda il menu, esso è, a parer nostro, superlativo: ottimi i primi, soprattutto le zuppe a base di legumi del Lago, appetitosi i secondi a base di carne e di pesce, da provare assolutamente i dolci. La presentazione delle pietanze è molto invitante e curata nei minimi particolari. Su ogni piatto servito l'Oste fa adeguata informazione, consigliando il vino da accompagnare. Eccellente la selezione di vini, bianchi e rossi dei Colli doc. Trasimeno. Elemento da non sottovalutare, la cucina di Vinolento è saporita.. senza essere elaborata: i piatti sono leggeri, si digeriscono bene. Per tutti questi motivi consigliamo sempre agli ospiti del ns. B&B che cercano un buon ristorante di fare un salto da Vinolento. Anche per il buon rapporto qualità-prezzo! Un saluto al sig. Giuliano.

The first feeling you get entering Osteria Vinolento is that informality: the place is typical Umbrian tastefully decorated, very collected. The scents in the air are soft, it is immediately appetite! The manager Mr. Julian welcomes patrons with courtesy and availability, so you feel immediately at ease. The kitchen is adjacent to the local peering is known order and ... cleaning! As for the menu, it is, in our opinion, superlative: the first good, especially the soups based on vegetables of the Lake, the mouth-watering main courses of meat and fish, must-try desserts. The presentation of the food is very inviting and treated in detail. On each plate served the Oste is adequate information, advising the wine to accompany. Excellent selection of wines, whites and reds from Colli doc. Trasimeno. Should not be underestimated, the kitchen of Vinolento is tasty .. without being processed: the dishes are light, you digest well. For all these reasons we always recommend to our guests.
