Vinci

Il borgo deve nacque Leonardo si affaccia sulla valle dell'Arno dalle pendici sud del Monte Albano, un gruppo di colline che la separa dall'altra vallata, ai piedi dell'appennino, dove sorge la città di Pistoia, la valle dell'Ombrone. Il centro conserva la struttura fortificata rinascimentale, dominata dalla mole del Castello dei conti Guidi. Il castello ospita il Museo leonardiano. Ai piedi del borgo sorge la parte "nuova", raccolta attorno all'ampia Piazza dela Libertà, dove si può sfuggire alla ressa dei turisti nei periodi di maggiore affollamento.

The village has Leonardo was born overlooking the valley of the Arno from the southern slopes of Monte Albano, a group of hills which separates the other valley, at the foot of the Apennines, where the city of Pistoia, the valley dell'Ombrone. The center preserves the structure fortified Renaissance, dominated by the imposing Castle of the Counts Guidi. The castle houses the Museum of Leonardo's. At the foot of the village stands the "new" part, gathered around the large Piazza dela Freedom, where you can escape the throng of tourists during periods of increased crowding.

No estaba muy dispuesta a visitarlo pero no me arrepentí de hacerlo,es muy interesante ver lo que este genial inventor pudo concebir. Es un museo pequeño donde están copias de los muchos inventos que realizó. También se sube a la torre desde donde se divisa todo Vinci, que por cierto tiene poco encanto. Después de haber visitado otros pueblos de la Toscana esta ciudad no es muy representativa del paisaje que existen en otras.

I was not very willing to visit it but I did not regret doing it, it is very interesting to see what this great inventor could conceive. It is a small museum where they are copies of the many inventions that realized. Also it rises to the tower from where it is possible to see everything Vinci, that by the way has little charm. After visiting other Tuscan towns this city is not very representative of the landscape that exist in others.
