La statue de Vincente Leon
Située en plein centre du parque le plus connu de Latacunga à qui elle a donné son nom, cette statue (sculptée en Italie en 1925) de Vincente Leon rend hommage à l'homme équatorien né à Latacunga et qui aida sa ville natale, notamment les paysans, à retrouver sa liberté quand celle-ci fut assaillie par les Espagnols.
Located in the heart of the park's most famous Latacunga which it gave its name, this statue (sculpted in Italy in 1925) Vincente Leon tribute to the man born in Latacunga, Ecuador and helped his hometown, including peasants to regain his freedom when it was attacked by the Spaniards.
