A beautiful facade
The Villavicencio Hotel was built in 1940 and operated since then as a thermal center for the guests who arrived here from this town and abroad. The Hotel Villavicencio is closed since 1978 in which they held the World Cup in Argentina, having built one of the fields for that event in the city of Mendoza. Although not enabled it still has its beautiful facade, whose picture is printed since its inception in the label of a mineral water that takes the name of the place and even traded in Argentina. In 2001 the Government declared the area in which the hotel is located as a protected area. In this area we find natural resources of mineral water and it is said that with every drop of rain, or with each snowflake that falls from the Aconcagua peak 6959 meters above sea level, the birth of pure water in this region starts.
