Ghadira Bay Viewpoint
The adjective "lookout" is perfect to describe this place ... ;-), which is actually not a formal viewpoint, as in it isn't marked or anything. Just behind the impressive Parish Church of Mellieha, next to the cemetery, there is a small clearing and a park with swings for children. The site is quite exposed and is located right at the apex of a hill. It is really high compared to the sea that is near. The park itself has a small stone wall and as perfect for people coming to pose for a picture with Ghadira Bay as a backdrop. Moreover, apart from the overview of this shell-shaped bay, it is noteworthy that the view is obtained, zoom pulling on the nearby island of Gozo and the stamp of houses "yellowish" of neighborhoods that overlook Mellieha the bay, a very characteristic and peculiar stamp of Malta, that eye, but has a lot of charm.
