View of the Acropolis

From the first moment I saw the Acropolis, I was fascinated, not just by the inside, but by the views. The Acropolis is above Athens and offers unique views of the city. From here you can see all the streets and neighborhoods, plus there is a special light that makes the views even more spectacular. From the top of the Acropolis two places are perfectly emblematic of classical Greece. On the one hand we can enjoy the theater of Dionysus, a huge place that is located on the southern slope of the Acropolis. During the V century BC it had great importance as a festival took place in this theater. The other theater we can see from the top is that of Herodes Atticus, built in AD 161.
