Victorian and medieval houses

The houses in Chester are its most notable feature, straight out of the period of the Renaissance. From the Middle Ages and the Victorian period, they give the city a sophisticated, charmingly old-fashioned appearance, and as you walk through the streets you'll feel like you've gone back in time. You can tell the medieval houses from the Victorian ones, as the latter have more ornamentation.
