Las vías verdes son sendas que transcurren por antiguos trazados de vías ferroviarias utilizadas para transporte minero esencialmente, que cayeron en desuso. En este caso, la del Cidacos une Calahorra con Arnedillo mediante una pista de tierra a lo largo de 34 kilómetros, evocando este antiguo trayecto de tren.
Arnedillo es el final (o el principio, según se mire) de la vía verde y finaliza enlazando con la senda del agua termal que transcurre por la orilla del río Cidacos a su paso por el centro de Arnedillo.
Si optas por realizar esta ruta, completa o únicamente en este tramo concreto, puedes disfrutar de las pozas termales en el centro del pueblo o de las zonas arboladas y el paso bajo el puente de Arnedillo, con los restos del castillo como fondo.
A poca distancia del pueblo, en la propia senda, puede tomarse el desvío que lleva hasta el mirador del buitre y, desde allí, contemplar el vuelo tanto de buitres como de alimoches o diversas variedades de águilas.
The greenways are paths that run along old routes of railroad tracks used for mining transport essentially, which fell into disuse. In this case, that of Cidacos connects Calahorra with Arnedillo via a dirt track along 34 kilometers, evoking this old train journey. Arnedillo is the end (or beginning, as you see it) of the greenway and ends by linking with the path of thermal water that runs along the banks of the Cidacos River as it passes through the center of Arnedillo. If you choose to do this route, complete or only in this specific section, you can enjoy the thermal pools in the center of the village or the wooded areas and the passage under the bridge Arnedillo, with the remains of the castle as background. A short distance from the village, in the path itself, you can take the detour that leads to the viewpoint of the vulture and, from there, contemplate the flight of both vultures and alimoches or various varieties of eagles.
