Veigné

Veigné is a village of over 5,000. Designated as "Ville Verte" (Green City), the effort to keep the place nice and care is clear. Just 20km from the city of Tours, where you can go by bus to Fil Vert , or by regional train, both in about 20 minutes, the village is all about the people. Take a walk in the center, where there is the Church, and the water mill, an emblem of the mini city. This mill, at the entrance of the town on the river Indre, has exhibitions and other activities. Behind the structure you will find a kayak rental company, perfect for those who enjoy a bit of nature without being professional athletes, since the usual walk leaves from the close town of Esvres, without much difficulty.
