The perfect spot for picnics
This park is one of the best known in Anchorage because it has a rocket for children to climb up and play on. It is located in a valley at the bottom of the city center, with the stream of Campbell Creek passes by. There is a large field to one side where locals come to play football or baseball in summer, and in good weather it's the perfect spot for picnics and barbecues.
