Sunderland was the product of an era of prosperity which is now over, which attracted to the North-East coast of England, workers and people of different social status, all drawn by the opportunities. Close to downtown, yet separately, is one of the most prestigious and homes from the Edwardian period (early twentieth century), which reminds us of the possible location of the upper class at the time.
