Valdevez Archs

Arcos de Valdevez is a municipality of about 50 parishes located in the heart of Alto Minho. A beautiful village, through which the poetic Lima river passes and half of the Vez river, lends its name to this beautiful valley. In the northeast, its vast cultural and landscaped wealth call your attention because nearby is the Peneda Geres National Park . Mansions abound in this town with lots of history, medieval bridges, different style churches, and regional cuisine. The young goat and the Cocida a Minhota exemplify typical gastronomy, as well as its famous green wine.
