The hotel Valahia is situated on Udriste Nasturel street, in Targoviste, in the modern city center. While the city was the capital of the Romanian Empire in its time and has beautiful historic things to do, the modern part was built during the communist era, and it is not the prettiest part. You only have to look at this two star hotel, painted a green that reminds me of creamy cakes, and you have an idea of what the rest of the city is like. The hotel has about 200 rooms, clean, small but comfy, with cable TV, and a minibar. They remind me of some rooms of the hotels in the 1980s in Western Europe.
