Utopia Cinemas
The Utopia cinema is a small cinema with four rooms that is located in the historic center of Avignon. They have four rooms in which original French movies are shown and some international. There is a showing at 12 noon, at 2, 4, 6 and 8 pm. Some nights, usually Friday and Saturday, there is a movie at 10. Rates are usually 6 euros, 4 at noon and 4.5 euros if you buy a book of 10 tickets. They often have lectures, theme nights, and special presentations for school groups. Such a place is typical of Avignon, a place where the alternative arts have developed greatly since the 60s.
