Upsala Glacier
This glacier, along with the Perito Moreno glacier, is the most visited and was named after the Swedish city in 1908 as the University sponsored the first glaciological study of the region. Its area is 870 km with a length of 60 km, making it the longest in South America. The height of the front is about 60 feet above the lake level. One of the most beautiful spectacles around here are the big icebergs that drift around the glacier.
