Umi Jigoku

Alone or with family. As you wish. It is one of the famous in Beppu, on the island of Kyushu, Japan. Admission: 400 yen, but worth it. One of the most famous jigokus in the city and about 25 mins by bus from the city bus station, behind the train station of JR Beppu. In Umi jigoku you can feel the force of the volcanic island, observe different tropical species, eat steamed eggs and take a bath.

The "sea" boiling

El 'mar' hirviendo

Excellent
One of the most beautiful hells of the Kannagawa circuit is the Umi jigoku, "hell of the sea" I imagine because of the clear cobalt blue color of the pond. Looking at that beautiful color one is tempted to bathe in the waters but it is about 98 degrees so you can cook food easily. Within the Umijogoku whose entrance is about 400 yen there are beautiful gardens and a clear water pond with lotus flowers whose large leaves are strong enough to hold the weight of small children.
