Anna Martinelli
A famous fruit
I had never heard of this fruit before I came to Colombia ... then I found them everywhere! They are super famous. The first time I tried them was in a restaurant, but then I found them in the market, and even in the street. It looks like a cross between cherry tomatoes and oranges, and tastes like a cherry. On the street they cost about $2, and a big box at the market can be about $3.60. Give them a go - they're delicious! If you buy them on the street, you'll need to find a place to wash them before eating them.
