Hot springs
I spent a cloudy afternoon on Beppu, Kyushu, the southern island of Japan, which someone had recommended. I asked for directions at the tourist office in the Beppu station and the workers kindly pointed me to where it was on the map. I took bus #5 toward Tsuru-no-yu to the Onsen hidden in nature, which the locals are responsible for maintaining. It's a delightfully small hut to store clothes in case it rains. It's difficult to indicate how to get there from the bus stop, so you should ask the people of Beppu. You have to get off the bus at the stop in Konya Jigoku Mae to enjoy the hot springs.
