A busy, urban district
Usually abbreviated to TST, Tim Sha Tsui is one of the busiest urban parts of Hong Kong. It is located south of Kowloon, in the Yau Tsim Mong district, and can easily be reached by coming to the MTR station of the same name. In colonial times, many Indians settled here, and today they own almost all the businesses in the area (electronics, tailoring, watches and fakes). Recently a lot of Africans and Arabs have settled here, too. You can find plenty of hotels to suit all budgets here, shopping centres, and attractions like the Avenue of the Stars.
