An Unforgettable Winter Experience
If you're looking for an easy and rewarding winter stroll, look no further than Troll Falls. Located in Kananaskis Provincial Park in Alberta, Troll falls is a network of trails dedicated to Snowshoeing and Cross-Country Skiing in the winter. Snowshoes are good to have if you're planning to visit Troll Falls, however we found that we didn't need them when we went, so we just ventured out in our winter boots. The trek takes about an hour each way and leads to the most stunning, frozen waterfall if you are visiting in the winter. If you're lucky, you may even see ice climbers! Use extreme caution while exploring around the waterfall, as the frozen ground can be very slippery.
