Tribute to the Doctor Rural

Just outside the village is a green area where this beautiful sculpture sits. It is difficult to miss. It shows a man riding on horseback, depicting the image of the country doctor who for decades ran around the village on his horse as it was a far faster and more practical means of transport. This sculpture was created by Dr. Ruiz Lloreda and sponsored by the College of Physicians of Cantabria.
