A special charm
The Lucerne railway station is in a privileged location in the city center, right next to the lake and has a special charm. It was built by a civilian, the popular architect Calatrava who has worked a lot in Switzerland, in fact, he has a studio in Zurich where he also studied. It's a pretty big station with shops inside. What I like about Swiss stations is that they are very comfortable and fast. You go, and in a flash you're on platforms with trains, of course, hiper trains.
