Train. Phitsanulok
Leaving Phitsanulok train station, we found a old steam locomotive on Naresuan Square. It's impressive that this monument resembles a train that is still active in Kanchanaburi, called the Train of Death, that still offers tours of the region. Opposite the locomotive, there's a hotel if you don't want to be far from the station. It is a tribute to this machine which for so long and for so many kilometers has taken inhabitants from one region to another. Today although more modern, train travel is ideal for all those who choose to visit this country at an affordable price and enjoy the sense of freedom it offers, while watching the scenery at a pace much slower and leisurely than air travel.
