Town Hall

The city of Cambrai is the central square of the town and is a beautiful historical monument opened in 1932. During the Great War, the old town hall, or "hotel de ville" in French was destroyed but was rebuilt in neoclassical style. The Greek facade has a belfry with two giant Moors who ring the bell every hour. Named Martin and Martine, they are the protectors of the city. The living room is beautiful and if you want you can go and visit it but you have to make an appointment.
